Trackman-Edgertronic Merge

During my time with the Rangers, one of the many jobs I have is to capture Edge video during games. The one tedious part about it is having to watch each clip and rename them all.

Using R, I was able to combine the Trackman pitch time stamps with the Edge clip time stamps, and join them based on closest time stamp to each other.

In the photo, you can see the first column is how I renamed the files manually. The second columns shows how I use R to automate the file renaming process.
File name is:
Clip #, Inning, Last Name, Pitch Result, Exit Velo (if applicable)

This make it easy for everyone to go find the exact swing they're looking for from a specified game!
