Honestly, I'm not too fond of the amount of deleted scenes in the latest version of the edit.
I recently watched Mk 16 a little while ago, and was surprised with how many there were, It really took me out of the moment when there were suddenly unfinished vfx, and dodgy audio and stuff like that. The last time I watched this edit was just before civil war came out, and while there were still some deleted scenes, there wasn't nearly as many as now, and I thought they fit more seamlessly back then.
It's very confusing, some of the deleted scenes now are made redundant by other scenes, there's repeated information, contradictions and plot holes. And there are a lot of deleted scenes missing, which just adds to the confusion why these specific scenes were chosen to be included.
If the goal of The MCU A Chronology is to provide a chronological edit of everything canon in the MCU, the deleted scenes are not canon, they were taken out of the film for a reason.
I appreciate the effort spent to include them, and it is very interesting to see them, many of which I hadn't seen before. Though it felt like I was watching behind the scenes clips on YouTube, rather than the grand story of the MCU.
I'm sure many people like them, and I'm not asking to change it based on my opinion alone. Just sharing my thoughts and wondering if other people feel the same.
But, for the record, I agree with chartierthemonk.
