Now that WandaVision is nearly over, I've been think of how best it can be edited into a cinematic format. Certain things such as the cinematic scenes from Episode 4-(presumably) 9 are 100% keepers as they are, but the television elements from Wanda's reality are a bit more difficult to work with. Just like the rest of the Dirty30m edit, I assume that the goal will be keeping everything in chronological order whenever it's possible and makes sense. This would mean that the intercuts in Episode 4 would need to be properly situated, potentially breaking the aspect ratio game the show plays. There's also the issue of the opening and closing credits—do they stay or do they go? While the opening credits are generally stand-alone and could probably go without seriously impacting the show, the closing credits are usually a little more continuous with the episode and also get broken in Episode 5(?) when Vision dismisses them and the show continues past them. Lastly, there's the issue of the commercials in Episodes 1-3 and 5-7. The only way I can see these remaining is if the full television structure of the episodes is retained as well. But is that the best way to approach a cinematic edit of WandaVision?
What are other peoples' thoughts on this topic? How should WandaVision be edited to retain continuity without cutting anything so that it flows acceptably in a the Dirty30m edit?
